Hi everyone, my name is Emma and I am a second year UQ student studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours). With over 4 years of tutoring experience, I have developed strategies to both help your child achieve academic success while building self confidence and crucial skills such as time management. I graduated in 2021 under the ATAR system and achieved a high A in all subjects, achieving a perfect score in English and Literature external exams. Consequently, I had the pleasure of tutoring 20+ Year 12 students in 2021. All students improved by over one grade point, many changing C’s to A’s in areas such as Biology, English and Literature. Conclusively, all students were able to achieve entry into their first preferences for University degrees or courses, with newfound confidence and skills.
As a tutor I value greatly the importance of individualism, therefore tailor my approach to the needs of each child. I take pride in fostering a safe learning environment where every student feels encouraged and able to discuss any questions or concerns.
Hi everyone, I'm Rachel and I've recently graduated Year 12 with an ATAR of 99.4! I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Masters of Engineering at UQ. As an academically orientated student and previous academic and well-being prefect, I hope to give advice to those who may be struggling or just need that little bit of guidance. I thoroughly enjoy maths and science and excelled in my subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Modern History, English and Methods/Specialist Maths. I achieve a high A standard across all subjects, achieving 95% overall for each, with a key interest in STEM. Alongside schoolwork, I also took interest in various sports and music programs and was an active member of my school's community service group. I will inspire confidence and motivation in any student I tutor and believe that anyone can achieve their goals if they study smart!
